DISCOVER AN OASIS OF WELLBEING ON THE SHORES OF LAKE COMO
Farmhouse with swimming pool and spa on the shores of Lake Como.
Starting from 2024 we have decided to make a further leap in quality, offering a new service to our guests of the farmhouse: a small oasis of well-being, where you can find relaxation and tranquility.
The peculiarity of this project was to have renovated, while maintaining some original parts, an existing space: a crotto, that is, a stone construction typically inserted inside ancient landslides that broke away at the end of the Ice Age. These are typical structures of our area, used as cellars, in our case, for the maturation of wine, thanks to particular air currents that create the ideal climate.
Our Wellness Cave is modulated over a two-hour path, designed to get the maximum benefit, thanks to the salt bio-sauna and the Japanese Ofuro bath.

Saline biosauna
It was born from the idea of benefiting from salt, heat and chromotherapy. These elements are perfectly combined in our Thalatepee Halo: an environment rich in negative ions (and therefore rich in oxygen), hypoallergenic and hygienically suitable. The benefit is derived from the synergy between the pink Himalayan salt (the purest), the heat of the sauna (which activates the vasodilation process) and chromotherapy. To complete the ritual we suggest a cold shower, built inside a natural cavity, which activates the vasoconstriction process, which brings further benefits to the vascular system
Thalatepee Halo is a wooden suite that envelops and protects those inside who enjoy the multiple benefits of a natural and ideal microclimate.
Ofuro Japanese Bath
Typical bath that the Japanese took after washing. Ofuro is the term of the ancient rite that was done not only to purify the body, but also to free the mind. Hydrofuro integrates within it peculiar characteristics such as the generation of nascent oxygen, which favors the superficial drainage of toxins and excess fluids.
The combination of hot water, oxygen and chromotherapy, adjustable on a range of colors with different properties depending on the need, creates the perfect environment to relax and release accumulated stress.
To conclude the wellness journey, we provide our guests with a relaxation area, with loungers on which to lie down, wrapped in warm blankets and background music to help you return to the real world, sipping a hot herbal tea.
The pool with a view of Lake Como
Agriturismo Biosio has a swimming pool reserved for guests that overlooks Lake Como.
The solarium area is surrounded by olive trees, which create peace and tranquility and is equipped with a shower, deck chairs, tables and chairs. During the summer, events are often organized, such as aperitifs or dinners, within this area, with a breathtaking view, to best enjoy the excellent food and excellent cocktails of the restaurant.
